Best Brains Learning Center Scarborough Morningside is hiring enthusiastic PART-TIME center admin to manage learning center.

**Company Description**

Best Brains started in 2011 with only 2 centers. Growing rapidly, Best Brains now has 200+ locations across 3 countries. Best Brains is focused on helping children find their true potential by giving them the tools they need to succeed in school and in life.

**Responsibilities**

The Center Admin is responsible for managing the center. It includes but not limited to below.

- Must have experience teaching Math and/or English

- Understand the program and associated levels in depth

- Talk to the prospective parents and schedule meetings with them for orientation

- Conduct diagnostic test and assign the students appropriate levels after discussing with teachers and center director

- Schedule the classes for teachers

- Welcome Kids per class time and see them going with respective parents

- Make the books and other supplies available for the teachers to teach the class

- Maintain and order book inventory

- Arrange calls with parents and teachers for online students

- Make sure teachers talk to parent at respective time slots for in person students

- Grade the books as needed and use grading team to make sure all the books are properly graded and entered in the system

- Conduct workshops and supplementary classes as needed

- Arrange make up classes

- Continuously communicate with Center Director

**Qualifications**

- Knowledge of advanced clerical skills and office administration normally acquired through the completion of a community college diploma in office management, advanced secretarial, and/or business management (Case for Equivalency will be considered);

- Ability to work productivity tools such as MS Office, and google sheets etc.

- Very strong organizational, communicational skills and detail-oriented;

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure;

- Excellent interpersonal skills;

- Knowledge of a second language an asset;

- Experience working within a multicultural environment;

- Ability to maintain a positive approach and a professional manner at all times

Part-time - Pay: $18.00-$20.00 / hr

Expected hours: per week

**Schedule**

  • Monday (4:30-7:30 pm)
  • Tuesday (4:30 -7:30 pm), Wednesday (4:30 -7:30 pm) and Saturday (10-1pm)

**Education**

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

- Administrative: 1 year (required)

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
