+ profit sharing (uncapped)

Schedule options:
4 days on / 3 days off
or
8 days on / 6 days off, flexible

Lead a community-focused independent pharmacy in beautiful Port Alberni. We're hiring a hands-on Pharmacy Manager to grow clinical services, build a high-performing team, and share in profits — with flexible scheduling and a leadership role that truly matters.

What you'll do

  • Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring safety, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive clinical services: medication reviews, immunizations, injections, chronic care support and other patient-focused programs.
  • Coach, schedule and mentor the pharmacy team — build a high-performance, patient-first culture.
  • Own inventory management, purchasing decisions, OTC merchandising, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage P&L, monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to increase revenue and efficiency.
  • Lead community outreach and relationships with prescribers and local healthcare partners.
  • Implement growth initiatives — expand services and clinical offerings to help the pharmacy meet and exceed targets.
  • Ensure high standards for customer experience and patient counseling.

Who we're looking for

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the
    College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC)
    .
  • 2+ years of community pharmacy experience; management or senior/lead pharmacist experience preferred.
  • Experience delivering immunizations and injections (or willingness to obtain certification immediately).
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable managing financials, KPIs and operational workflows.
  • Community-minded, proactive, and customer/clinically focused.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach staff, solve problems, and run efficient operations.

Compensation & perks

  • Base salary:
    $140,000 per year.
