Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to, resolving and escalating security issues as required
  • Assisting in the implementation of security strategic plans as directed
  • Monitoring, documenting and preparing statements/reports on violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities

Education and Qualifications:

  • Use of force and first aid certified
  • Must be willing to recertify for Use of Force every 3 years
  • Occupational First Aid Level 2 an asset
  • You must be able and willing to consuct arrests for indicable offenses
  • willingness to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and graveyards.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • A passion for providing outstanding service to our internal and external community
  • Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and the community
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
  • Can understand, speak and write English; fluency in other languages an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through.
