Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team in London Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects by accurately estimating costs and ensuring that our operations align with our commitment to quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors for accurate pricing
  • Utilize Eplans software for estimating processes
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Monitor project budgets and provide updates on cost variances
  • Assist in developing project schedules and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
  • Proficiency in Eplans software or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and pricing strategies
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of safety regulations within the construction industry
