We are a busy and rapidly growing outpatient addiction treatment practice in Burlington seeking an Addiction Counsellor/Therapist with both professional credentials and personal lived experience with addiction and recovery. Lived experience is mandatory for this role and essential to our client‐centred approach.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, grounded clinician who can support individuals and families affected by addiction. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a high‐demand practice with steady referrals and a supportive environment. Applicants must have personally overcome addiction and have maintained long‐term recovery.

Requirements

  • MSW, RSW (must be eligible for insurance‐based billing)
  • Applicants must have personally overcome addiction and have maintained long‐term recovery.
  • Strong understanding of addiction, relapse, and recovery models
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills

Bonus Skills

  • Experience supporting clients with eating disorders
  • Experience with trauma, family systems, or concurrent disorders
