We have an opportunity for a Procurement Assistant or a Procurement Coordinator, depending on experience, under the Purchaser job category within our Procurement department at our Broadway Tech Office in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle purchasing activities for both our terminals. This role will focus on sourcing and managing procurement for parts, services, tools, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI), with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, supplier relationships, and continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate has mid-level procurement experience, excellent communication, analytical skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
General Duties
- Manage full-cycle procurement activities for parts, services, tools, and VMI.
- Govern procurement-related master data: create, update, and maintain resource IDs in coordination with store management.
- Issue POs, monitor delivery schedules, and provide timely updates.
- Participate in RFQ processes, supplier qualification, and vendor setup.
- Support contract creation, price list management, and negotiation with suppliers.
- Track high-value part warranties and lead parts return process.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice mismatches.
- Assist in supplier performance evaluation and continuous process improvements.
- Respond to parts/ service-related purchasing requests and ad-hoc procurement needs.
- Complete additional duties as required.
Compensation
- The salary range is: $68,808 – $92,568
- Annual Incentive Plan

Requirements
Education & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable leading supplier relationship management and contract discussions.
- Solid understanding of RFQ processes and order management.
- Experience issuing orders for replenishment and managing service orders.
- ERP system experience is required.
- Fleet purchasing experience and terminal operating company experience can be strong assets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Team player with a continuous improvement attitude.
This position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and may require occasional overtime hours and flexibility to work afternoons/weekend shifts on an as-need basis.
