  • Remote (Ontario/GTA-based) with employer site visits as required
  • Part-time – 20 hours/week
  • 6-month contract, renewable based on performance

About Play Forever

Play Forever is a national Canadian charity supporting refugees, newcomers, youth, and seniors through community, education, and employment programs.

About This Role

This position is part of Play Forever's Newcomer Employment Program and focuses on connecting newcomers and refugees in Ontario with real job opportunities through direct employer partnerships. We are seeking a Job Developer with an active employer network in Ontario/GTA. This is not an internal HR role. The core responsibility is to build employer partnerships and deliver consistent, measurable job placements each month.

What You'll Do

  • Use your existing employer contacts to open direct hiring opportunities.
  • Build new partnerships with companies across Ontario.
  • Promote Play Forever's Employment Program as a ready workforce solution.
  • Coordinate applications and interviews with employers.
  • Close ongoing hiring partnerships and maintain strong relationships.
  • Meet monthly placement targets and track outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in Job Development, Recruitment, or B2B employer outreach in Ontario.
  • Strong employer network (demand industry).
  • Proven experience placing candidates into jobs.
  • Confident working with targets and delivering measurable results.
  • Based in Ontario and able to attend employer meetings when needed.

Success is based on:

  • Number of confirmed hires each month.
  • Growth and strength of employer partnerships.
