Position Overview:

Cantex Mining Services is seeking a Dozer operator who will be responsible for operating lever-controlled graders to maintain roads, slope profiles, and construction surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Grade surfaces per specifications, including roadways and site access points.
  • Perform thorough equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Execute grading tasks based on direction from supervisors or site leads.

Expectations:

  • Maintain all PPE standards, including respirator use when required.
  • Reliable travel to and from work locations.
  • Handle extended or night shifts while managing fatigue.
  • Operate within a team and take initiative on solo tasks when necessary.
  • Balance efficiency with safety at all times.
  • Communicate clearly via radio; submit accurate paperwork and logs.
  • Respond flexibly to shifting environmental and work conditions.
  • Follow best practices for environmental protection.

Assets:

  • Experience with forest service road or highway grading.
  • Familiarity with high-altitude or challenging terrain operations.
