Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including food handling and adhering to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members alike.
