Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a crew of Carpenters, Concrete Finishers / Masons and Labourers
  • Interface with the client and other contractors on site
  • Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor's health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other Forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
  • Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a civil construction environment
  • Journeyperson Carpenter or Concrete Finisher/Mason
  • Strong carpentry or Concrete/Mason trade background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades.
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract required

Work Conditions:

  • Work schedule: 5 days on, and 2 days off plus statutory holidays off
  • Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
  • Location - Fort Saskatchewan AB
