About the role
 
Calvary Riverina are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our perioperative team. This role is a part-time (FTE 0.6) position working across both our Main Theatre department and Surgicentre.
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Planning and delivery of education, learning and development to the perioperative department
  • Quality improvement and management
  • Presenting and facilitating the development of junior clinical staff and students
  • Promoting an environment that adheres to professional, perioperative and national standards
About you
  • Demonstrated minimum of 3 years perioperative experience (anaesthetic/recovery nursing experience is desired)
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as both an independent and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in education, learning and development 
  • Commitment to quality improvement and adhering to perioperative and national standards
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
