Job Description

We have 2 openings for a part-time Sales Associate position at our North York and Brampton/Mississauga stores. We seek candidates who are motivated and energetic individuals with an interest in the fashion industry. At Image Fashions, we strive to create a friendly atmosphere that delivers the best shopping experience for customers through exceptional customer service. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to access store discounts, and possibly extend their part-time role into a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building long-term and successful relationships with customers. This includes · Initiating conversation, sharing advice and product knowledge to interact with the customer in a personalized way.
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
  • Assisting store opening and closing processes.
  • Maintaining an clean, orderly, and organized presentation of sales floor.
  • Replenishing merchandise and monitoring stock.
  • Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
  • Resolving customer issues and deescalating hostile conflicts
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by management.
  • Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
  • Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team
  • Exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things
  • Adheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience being a team player
  • Able to work flexible hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in different stores located in Brampton and Mississauga
  • Previous experience in retail is considered an asset
  • Fluency in other languages is considered an asset
