Position Summary:

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support our clients in long-term care facilities and hospital settings. The PSW will work under the direction of a registered nurse or supervisor to provide personal care and daily living assistance to patients and residents, ensuring dignity, safety, and respect at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Provide emotional and social support to clients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behaviour to the nursing staff.
• Support infection prevention and control practices.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional support where necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams and follow care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from an approved Ontario program.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Proof of immunization and up-to-date TB testing.
• Ability to work at different locations across Ontario.
• Experience in long-term care or hospital settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to client-centred care and ethical practice.
