We are seeking a (Level 3) Expert IT Support Technician. This job is based in Edmonton and the role involves supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting client systems. Strong technical skills and a passion for customer service are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and secure client networks.
  • Resolve complex technical issues collaboratively.
  • Assist with LAN and VPN configurations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software on various devices.
  • Install and configure applications.
  • Point of contact for tier 2 techs to escalate ongoing issues.
  • Provide support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing client issues.
  • Informing the sales team on the status of the client's environment
  • Document support requests and inventory assets.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
  • Experience with client network standards and sales team collaboration.
  • Technical support experience in a helpdesk environment.
  • Understanding of business operational impact of Disaster recovery, Security and Change Management.
  • Windows OS and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical users.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to handle pressure.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools, VPN configurations, IT service management, and automation tools.
