What You'll Be Doing

You'll be joining CIBC's Remote Access Services team. As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be accountable for Operational Support, Engineering and Service Ownership of CIBC's Remote Infrastructure. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will provide subject matter expertise and 3rd level operational support for services within our portfolio. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will also provide consulting and support for other services and project work as needed.

How You'll Succeed 

  • Leadership – Provide technical leadership and best practices to infrastructure teams. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. You'll manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities, using effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Solution Design & Execution – You'll design, develop and test emerging remote access solutions. You'll provide senior level consulting in identifying and solving complex and highly critical issues, engaging vendors when necessary.
  • Remediation –  Lead remediation efforts for critical security issues and vulnerabilities across multiple services & platforms, working closely and fostering close relationships with our Information Security partners. You'll analyze data and services to identify opportunities for improvement in functionality, quality and validity, and recommend solutions that may cross multiple teams, functions, processes and platforms.

Who You Are

  • You must demonstrate experience and subject matter expertise in Citrix Cloud/DaaS, Citrix on-premise, Citrix ELM App Layering and Azure.
  • In addition you also have experience building, implementing and supporting Citrix. You can also demonstrate knowledge and expertise with Azure, authentication protocols, NSG's, creating scripts and building automation using PowerShell and Ansible. Well-developed oral, written communication and presentation skills are a must. It's an asset if you have: Existing knowledge of CIBC processes, standards and change management requirements; Experience producing strong technical documentation; Experience in a variety of roles/teams including, but not limited to, Operations, Engineering, Architecture & Security. You have a degree/diploma in a related discipline.
