Our Account Manager assists in all areas of the sales department. From taking on new leads, learning the ins and outs of our product offerings, and ensuring our customers are educated and informed along every step of the process. Our ideal candidate is organized and professional, who goes the extra mile for every customer.

Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience with sales or sales administration
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry a strong asset
  • History of working successfully in a fast-paced team environment
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience in Excel / Word / Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support via email and phone, providing accurate and up-to-date information
  • Satisfy order requests from initial contact to final production approvals
  • Create and send estimates
  • Enter dockets into ordering system, ensuring accurate and complete information is provided
  • Monitor shared inbox and respond to emails accordingly
  • Send documents for customer approval and receive / file / input and store documents relating to sales
  • Answer telephones and transfer calls accordingly
  • Learn material structures and all product information relating to Rootree's services
  • Assist the sales team with any requested tasks
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Regular follow up with existing clients and recently sent quotes
  • Update clients on status of orders/completion dates
