Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall installer and Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and carpentry. This role involves working on various projects that require attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team. The Taper will contribute to the successful completion of interior and exterior finishing tasks, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Apply drywall compound (taping) to seams, joints, and corners to create smooth surfaces for painting or finishing
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed before taping
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during taping and finishing tasks
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Assist with other maintenance person or construction tasks as required to support project completion
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, drywall taping, or finishing work
- Background in construction or carpentry preferred

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
