About the Role
Are you an expert in Microsoft Endpoint Management looking to drive innovation within an enterprise environment? We are seeking a
End User Services Specialist
to join our team in Downtown Toronto. In this hybrid role, you will be the architect of our end-user computing experience, moving beyond simple support to design, implement, and optimize the technology that powers our workforce.
You will interface with key vendors and internal stakeholders to manage SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and Group Policy, ensuring our environment remains secure, compliant, and efficient. If you are a strategic thinker who stays calm under pressure and loves to automate processes via PowerShell, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Endpoint Architecture:
Manage the design and security of the Microsoft Endpoint environment (SCCM and Intune), including software delivery, machine/user targeting, and the Software Center. - Security & Compliance:
Lead vulnerability management and patch updates in accordance with enterprise standards. Manage client-facing GPOs to ensure a secure, compliant desktop environment. - Identity & Access:
Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions, leveraging Azure AD and related technologies. - Collaboration Tech:
Lead the development and management of Audio Visual (AV) and Collaboration Room technology. - Operational Excellence:
Monitor systems for maximum uptime, drive continuous service improvement (CSI), and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during Major Incidents. - Support:
Provide Level 3 support for complex end-user computing issues and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience:
Minimum
7+ years
supporting and administering a Microsoft Environment, with
5+ years
specifically focused on SCCM, Intune, Windows/Mac platforms, and Group Policy. - Cloud & Collaboration:
Extensive experience (5+ years) with Office 365 tenants (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). - Scripting:
Strong technical knowledge of
PowerShell
for administration and automation is required. - AV Knowledge:
2-3 years of experience managing advanced AV and collaboration technologies. - Soft Skills:
You are a self-motivated "lifelong learner" who can drive change, mentor others, and remain composed during high-stress situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Certifications (Microsoft 365, Mobility, and Security).
