Position Summary
The Arborist Representative is responsible for conducting on-site tree assessments, preparing accurate estimates, and developing strong client relationships. This role requires strong arboriculture knowledge, effective communication skills, and proven sales experience.
This role also acts as a leader within the team, providing guidance, setting professional standards, and supporting collaboration between arborists and office staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional sales growth and client relationships
- Conduct on-site tree assessments and provide professional recommendations
- Prepare estimates for pruning, removals, and plant health care services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify tree species and diagnose plant health issues
- Estimate job time, crew requirements, and equipment needs
- Support and manage crews in the Vancouver region
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of arboriculture experience
- Tree Risk Assessment Qualification
- ISA Certified Arborist
- Degree or diploma in a green industry field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of climbing practices, plant health, and tree care standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with technology
- Valid driver's licence (required)
