The Job As a Drywaller/Carpenter Tradesperson at Winmar, you will: Plan, carry out and finish various trade specific tasks including such things as: drywall installation, mudding, taping, sanding, painting, trim/finishing work, door installations, window installations, any task related to rebuilding residential and commercial spaces Have a 'jack of all trades' attitude and be willing to pitch in all areas of the job You will be part of an elite crew and work in a team environment
YOU HAVE: · A positive, can-do attitude and are happy to be employed by a great company doing something you love · An open mind to change and coaching and a commitment to always learning new and/or better ways to do things · A wide knowledge of your primary trade as we deal with every scenario imaginable · Compassion and care and a customer service personality, as we deal with people at their worst times · A clean criminal record check · A safety mindset The Ideal Candidate: · Takes pride in their work and craftmanship · Takes pride in being on-time and in a job well done · Is willing to do more than their trade · Is willing to do demo when required · Can handle the fast pace and variety of jobs we book, both new construction and renovation · Has a good understanding of English–both written and spoken · Can commit to Winmar exclusively · Is self-driven and independent and can get the job done with minimal supervision
NOTE: · You MUST have a valid driver's license and be able to provide both a clear criminal record check and a clear driving abstract to our insurance company
