ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Uphold and interpret the basic philosophy and mission of camp while providing the best camp experience for all participants and staff year-round.

The Camp Director (CD) provides summer and year-round program oversight as well as exceptional customer service in all aspects of the organization following the philosophy and mission of Camp Cadicasu. CD is directly responsible for leadership, management, supervision, and guidance of camp operation during summer and year-round including (but not limited to) staff, programming, safety, and campers. CD reports to and works closely with the Executive Director to prioritize and resource the total operation of Camp Cadicasu. The Camp Director is a member of the Camp Senior Leadership team along with the Facilities Manager, and the Food Service Manager. (Summer and year-round programs)

The Camp Director oversees the daily operations of Camp Cadicasu's Summer Camp Programs: Traditional, Specialty, and Day Camp programs, ensuring a seamless and exciting experience for campers and staff alike. Prior to each camp week, the Camp Director ensures that all rosters are finalized, staff assignments are complete, and all necessary logistics (i.e. transportation, program, food, and facilities) are coordinated. Camp Director will work closely and oversee the Camp Leadership Team to develop an engaging and dynamic schedule of activities.

Camp Director will also supervise directly Camp Leadership team to provide support and oversight as well as assist and support Executive Director in overall operations of the organization. Camp Director will automatically assume responsibility if the Executive Director is not present on site.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
