Our School is currently looking for a School Administrator/ Program Supervisor who is experienced, highly-motivated and passionate working effectively with staff, families and children.

This position responsible for day to day operations of the school. The Administrator/ supervisor oversees the program planning, working effectively with staff, families and children.

Job description

  • Providing the leadership in keeping with Montessori Philosophy and preference to Montessori certified teacher
  • Keep current with all legislative changes and requirements
  • Accountable for the effective day to day operation of program
  • Provide support to staff in developing highest quality Montessori curriculum and standard of care
  • Provide high standard and a safe, healthy and caring environment for all the children
  • Exhibit professional attitudes and promote a positive atmosphere surrounding team efforts and high standard of customer service
  • Ability to work in stressful situation with the ability to respond to changes and fluctuating demands with shifting deadlines
  • Always meet standard of CCEYA, Public Health and CCMA requirement
  • Monthly newsletter and school system update
  • Inventory control/allocation
  • Manage the teaching team positively
  • Ability to work efficiently with technology

Mandatory Qualifications: AMI/MACTE certificate or RECE 3+ years licensed childcare experience/ 5+ years experience as a Montessori teacher

  • Preferred administration and supervisory experience
  • Valid CPR certificate
  • Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working with children age form 18 months – age of 6

Desired skills Food Handler Certificate Past work experience in licensed daycare center as administrator/supervisor

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
