Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Calgary, AB. The Building Operator will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Key tasks include regular equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and co ordinating trades and contractors to implement repairs. The role also involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure the safety and comfort of occupants.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Equipment Maintenance, including conducting inspections and performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Relevant certification, such as Building Operator Certification, 4th or 5th class engineer ticket or equivalent experience, is an asset.
  • Familiarity with standard safety protocols and procedures in building management.
