Job Description

As a Material & Logistics Lead, you will play a key role within the project operations team, reporting directly to site and project leadership. You will be responsible for coordinating all material and logistics activities required to support safe, efficient, and timely project execution. This includes processing work orders, managing inventory, sourcing and procuring materials, and organizing the ordering, pickup, and delivery of equipment and supplies. You will provide on-site leadership through effective planning, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed. In this role, you will also conduct safety inspections to address facility deficiencies, maintain compliance with all safety and operational standards, and build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers. Leveraging your experience in logistics, supply chain, and procurement, you will support overall project success through accuracy, reliability, and consistent execution of all material and logistics workflows.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Material & Logistics Lead with strong portfolio of relevant projects. 
  • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Procurement is an asset. 
  • Proven ability to process work orders, coordinate the ordering, pickup, and delivery of materials, manage inventory, source optimal suppliers and products, and conduct safety inspections to address facility deficiencies. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) 
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
