Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Take and interpret medical imaging; apply knowledge of anatomy for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
  • Implement infection control procedures following aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and clinic operations.
  • Stay current with advances in dental technology, materials, and procedures through ongoing education.

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state licensure required.
  • Proven experience working in dental clinics or offices; familiarity with dental office software like Tracker is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
  • Experience with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canals, restorations, and other complex procedures confidently.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and medical documentation practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive environment committed to excellence in dental care delivery.

Pay: $99,794.38-$402,519.09 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
