What is the job?

We are looking for someone with either aircraft or NDT experience. Level I or Level II in NDT methods are an asset. In this role you will be trained in the many different aspects of the non-destructive testing that keep aircraft flying. You will be required to pass a drug test screening as well as a security criminal background check to get your airside airport security pass.

Who are you?

The following are just some of the things we look for in a strong candidate:

· Experience with, and ability to, read and interpret technical documents, maintenance manuals

· High school diploma and post-secondary education in NDT

· Effective communicator, able to read write and speak clearly in English

· Ability to work both in a team environment and individually

· Problem solver with a positive go-getter attitude

· Keen attention to detail

· Keen eyesight

· Basic understanding of Electricity, Physics, Math and Geometry are an asset.

· Ability to get a passport and pass a security screening to receive an airside airport security pass.

What are you going to do?

· Travel to our customer location, locally, around the province, across the country and even internationally.

· Interpret service bulletins and structural repair manuals

· Perform Eddy current, X-ray, Ultrasonic, Magnetic particle, Liquid penetrant and Visual NDT testing.

· Prepare reports for the customer and manage workflow and paperwork associated with inspections.

· Assist in the maintenance and repair of shop tooling and test equipment

Pay: Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
