Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chef / Kitchen Manager in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations

- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met

- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu items

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Assist in developing and implementing new recipes and menu items

Skills:

- Strong background in the food industry, preferably with experience in restaurant management or a similar role

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, preparation, and service

- Proven ability to supervise and train staff effectively

- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dishes and menu concepts

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
