Mineral Lab Technician

Job Summary

The Mineral Lab Technician is responsible for preparing, testing, and analyzing mineral samples in accordance with EnviCore's established protocols. This role ensures accurate data collection, safe operation of laboratory equipment, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare samples for testing according to standardized procedures.


• Perform laboratory tests and record precise, detailed data.


• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Follow all safety protocols and quality control standards.


• Maintain organized laboratory records and documentation in compliance with company requirements.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.


• Adhere to EnviCore's established protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications


• Diploma or degree in Environmental Technology, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience).


• Experience in laboratory operations, including sample preparation and testing, is considered an asset.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment


• Laboratory setting with exposure to mineral dust and chemicals (appropriate PPE provided).


• Requires standing for extended periods and handling of mineral samples and laboratory equipment.
