Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Expected Hours

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays - 10:00AM to 1:00PM

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
  • Handle heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and special projects.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are upheld.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
