ThermAtlantic Energy Products is an Atlantic Canadian manufacturer of air to water heat pumps, value-added distributor of HVAC and hydronic equipment and a systems integrator specializing in IOT web-enabled controls and mechanical design for a wide range of commercial markets.

Within Nova Scotia we have grown a large enough install base ove the last decade that we require in-house technicians to offer install assisstance and after-sale service for our products. At this time we are looking for an experienced refrigeration technician to service both residential and commercial air to water installations in the HRM and surrounding areas as far as Pictou and Wolfville.

In a time where so many HVAC tecnnicians are installing mini-splits, we are offering a much more challenging and interesting opportunity involving diagnostics, repair, commissioning, refrigeration design, internet enabled performance monitoring and remote control. Depending on each candidate's interests and experience we are prepared to mentor them in hydronics and controls to compliment their experience in refrigeration.

We are very flexible in the working relationship and are open to full or part-time emplyment, or contract basis. We have a backlog of service work at this time and are looking for candidates willing to start as soon as possible. If candidates have their own service vehicle and tools that would be idea but we are prepared to provide them otherwise. We are open to partnering with self-employed individuals to grow their business by guaranteeing hours, helping out with tooling and transportation and allowing side business growth as long as our customer's demands are prioritized.

Lastly, candidates should have a good mix of intelligence, experience, organizational skills, curiosity, honest work ethics and be able to work independently and manage an apprentice.
