About The Role
Hunter Scouts is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to join a confidential, high-profile financial-sector engagement based in downtown Ottawa. In this 40-hour/week contract role you will configure, enhance and maintain the core Dynamics 365 CRM platform, perform technical analysis and root-cause investigations, ensure audit compliance, and produce technical documentation and test artifacts. You will work under the direction of the Director, Supervision Portfolio and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop features within Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM (2016 or later)
  • Analyze, design, and implement enhancements to meet business requirements
  • Perform technical analysis, root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions in production environments
  • Create documentation, procedures, test plans, test results, and knowledge base articles
  • Ensure audit compliance during support and maintenance activities
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and platform performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver solutions
  • Perform other related deliverables as required

Requirements

  • Must be located within a 50-mile radius of Ottawa, Ontario and have the legal right to work in Canada
  • Must hold an active Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance (MANDATORY)
  • Minimum 5 years development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM and 5+ years recent development experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with C# and JavaScript using Visual Studio
  • Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting Web API services (Swagger/OpenAPI), writing PowerShell automation scripts, and working with source control systems (TFS/Azure DevOps, SVN, CVS) including advanced branching/merging
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent experience); proven experience supporting audit compliance and producing technical documentation and test artifacts

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services (Front Door, API Management, Azure AD B2C)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps
  • Experience working in financial-sector or regulated environments
