"An Equal Opportunity Employer" It is the policy of North American Stamping Group to provide employment, training, promotion, and other conditions of Employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or status as a qualified individual with a disability or other status protected by law.The position duties will include, but are not limited to: Operate stamping Presses as required - including any auxiliary equipmentInitiate press start-up and make adjustments as required after a set-upChangeover & Set-up of stamping dies and pressesAdjust process parameters as dictated from the Die Set-up sheetComplete required Production documentation: including Downtime, Production, Quality, 5-S, and TPMPart Inspection per Inspection InstructionFinal visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for qualityFollow Containment Checklist procedures in the event of contaminated productProduction tagging/labeling to maintain inventory accuraciesVerify Production schedule using the ShopEdge systemDie Set-up sheets - report updated information to Leaders as neededChange coiled material when neededWrite & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned areaQualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:Experience in safely operating production equipmentCurrent Press department experienceInterpersonal skills to work effectively in a teamGood communication skills (verbal and written) in EnglishStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task and meet production goals in a fast-paced production environmentDemonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environmentAble to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basisExposure to noisy environmentNorth American Stamping Group is a drug-free and smoke-free workplace.
