Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Azure ETL Testers to join our dynamic data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python and PySpark for writing and automating test scripts, with a deep understanding of ETL testing in the Azure Databricks environment. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ETL pipeline testing within the Azure Databricks environment using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners (POs), Business System Analysts (BSAs), and the POD team to understand business requirements, and design detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Participate actively in all stages of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Support the Quality Engineering (QE) Manager with assigned tasks and ad hoc requests.
  • Design effective test scenarios and test cases using an automation-first approach and recognized test design techniques.
  • Leverage existing automation frameworks, tools, and artifacts to ensure a continuous, comprehensive, and reliable testing process.
  • Log and manage defects in JTME, and participate in defect triage meetings.
  • Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to ongoing test automation initiatives.
  • Work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in Azure Cloud Platform and Azure Databricks.
  • Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL for data validation and automation.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodology and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Role Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months with possible extension

Pay: $52.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
