Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate the cash register, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize basic math skills to process payments and provide change.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products effectively.
  • Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed properly.
  • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette, addressing customer inquiries or directing them as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with technology sales is a plus, as well as an interest in learning about new products.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Proven time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining quality service.
