Job Summary

Sunridge Landing Dental Care is looking for an experienced, patient-centered Associate Dentist to join our well-established and busy practice. This role is suited for a clinician with solid experience who can provide comprehensive general dentistry to a diverse, family-based patient population.

The ideal candidate is confident in diagnosis and treatment planning, restorative procedures, wisdom tooth extractions, and endodontics—including molar root canals. Experience with Invisalign/clear aligner therapy and implant dentistry is an asset, and enthusiastic candidates will receive mentorship in these areas.

This position offers part-time hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, plus 2 Saturdays per month.

Duties

  • Perform general dentistry procedures such as examinations, fillings, crowns, wisdom teeth extractions, and all root canals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide pediatric dental care with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

  • DDS/DMD degree and eligibility for licensure with the Alberta Dental Association & College (ADA&C)
  • Active malpractice insurance in good standing
  • Strong communication skills and an excellent chairside manner grounded in evidence-based dentistry
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn in a rapidly growing practice
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with both patients and team members
  • A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care in a warm, professional environment
