We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in the beautiful Georgian Bay area, while ensuring they operate safely and effectively. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine electrical layouts
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow the Ontario Electrical Code. Qualifications
- Proficiency in low voltage systems
- Experience with industrial electrical work
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
- 309A or Red Seal certificate.
- Skilled in using hand tools for electrical work
- Strong ability to build, renovate, and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Person is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to job sites in and around Meaford
