About the Project:
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join a strategic remediation program for a major international banking group. The project aims to modernize the financial architecture of a key South American subsidiary by migrating local regulatory reporting and performance management processes from legacy systems to a target General Ledger (OFS). This initiative is critical to aligning local operations with global group standards and reducing operational risk.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Gap Analysis & Design:
Conduct deep-dive data analysis on existing systems (Back Office, legacy GL) to identify gaps and define the implementation roadmap for target regulatory reporting. - Business Analysis:
Create detailed user requirements and functional specifications. Manage the end-to-end user validation process. - Parametrization & Alignment:
Define the external chart of accounts and ensure the alignment between management accounting and financial accounting. - Project Coordination:
Build and maintain project plans, coordinate with IT teams for tool parametrization, and manage resources across geographically dispersed locations. - Testing & Quality:
Lead the execution of testing phases and ensure all deliverables meet strict internal quality methodologies. - Governance:
Prepare materials for Operating Committees and Steering Committees to update senior management on risks, dependencies, and milestones.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
Proven track record in the Financial Industry, specifically within Bank Finance or Accounting departments. - Technical Skills:
Advanced mastery of Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory. Proficiency in
PowerQuery
is a strong plus. - Subject Matter Expertise:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial products. Experience with General Ledger migrations (OFS or similar) is highly valued. - Mindset:
Highly analytical, organized, and capable of working effectively with stakeholders in different time zones. - Language:
Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
