Experience Required:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong foundation in Java-based enterprise applications and deep expertise in AWS Cloud architecture and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native solutions for large-scale banking or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions leveraging AWS services.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to design Java microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Lead migration and modernization initiatives from on-prem or legacy platforms to AWS.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of cloud deployments across environments.
  • Define best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and cost optimization in AWS.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise architecture standards.

Technical Skills:

  • AWS Services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, Cloud Formation, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM
  • Programming: Java / Spring Boot / REST APIs
  • Architecture: Microservices, Event-driven systems, Cloud-native design patterns
  • DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Terraform / Cloud Formation, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Security & Compliance: VPC, IAM Policies, KMS, Encryption, Banking compliance (PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • CI/CD & Automation: Experience with pipelines and IaC frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate)
  • Strong background in Banking or Wealth Management domains
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise transformation programs
