Position Overview
The Commercial and Community Partnerships Manager plays a key support role within the Reach Group, providing research, documentation, coordination, and systems support that underpin client assessments, strategic planning, and Indigenous partnership development.
This position is intended for an early-career professional with experience working closely with Indigenous communities and/or a business or related academic background who is comfortable with detailed, computer-based work and is interested in building experience in Indigenous partnership development, commercial strategy, and reconciliation-focused consulting. The role is designed to support senior leadership by working closely with both commercial clients and the Indigenous Communities they support, taking on aspects of client to community engagement and much of the analytical and document-driven work associated with Reach Group's advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct background research on Indigenous communities, governance structures, and economic development entities
- Support territorial and jurisdictional research related to client projects
- Organize and coordinate research materials for internal and client use
Client Deliverables & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation of client assessments, strategic inclusion plans, engagement materials and relationship agreements
- Draft, format, and update relationship agreements, reports, matrices, briefing notes, and supporting documents
- Track, monitor and maintain client deliverables, KPI's and strategic targets
- Coordinate document revisions and ensure consistency and quality across deliverables
Indigenous Partnership Support
- Engage and facilitate interaction with client to community relationships as directed by senior leadership
- Maintain internal tracking of Indigenous partnerships, agreements, key commitments and deliverables
- Support the preparation and organization of partnership-related documents, including letters of intent, participation frameworks, and partnership concept summaries
- Track milestones, deliverables, and next steps across multiple client engagements
Systems Process Support
- Maintain and update internal templates, tools, and precedent materials
- Support continuous improvement of internal documentation processes and workflows
- Work collaboratively with administrative support staff to ensure effective information management
Internal Coordination
- Take direction from Reach Group senior leadership and translate high-level guidance into clear, professional outputs
- Support timely delivery of client materials and internal work products
- Provide general analytical and coordination support as required
Qualifications and Experience
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a professional, consulting, policy, or commercial environment
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Planning, Indigenous Studies, Communications or a related field
- Exposure to Indigenous relations, reconciliation, economic development, or community engagement work
- Familiarity with UNDRIP, DRIPA, or Indigenous inclusion in commercial contexts
- Experience supporting senior professionals in a coordination or analytical role
