Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will be a core member of a dynamic team responsible for the digital design portion of highly integrated, mixed-signal Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). Designs utilize state-of-the-art CMOS technologies, featuring large digital blocks and precision analog circuitry.

  • Lead the digital design and implementation for next-generation, mixed-signal ICs used across our product portfolio.

  • Actively collaborate and interface with Analog Design Engineers to ensure seamless mixed-signal system integration.

  • Drive innovation and maintain a high standard of design quality and performance within a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience in digital IC/ASIC design.

  • Expert proficiency in hardware description languages, specifically Verilog.

  • Deep understanding and comfort with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts.

  • Advanced knowledge and proven experience with the full ASIC or FPGA design flow.

  • Required experience in writing comprehensive testbenches and proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., Modelsim).

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Design-for-Test (DFT) and the complexities of integrating digital blocks with precision analog circuits.

  • Proficiency in scientific computing tools such as MATLAB.

  • Experience with embedded systems programming.

  • Familiarity with common communications protocols (e.g., I2C, I2S, SPI, USB).

  • Experience with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx) and strong debugging skills.

  • Comfortable utilizing common lab equipment for testing and verification (e.g., oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies).
