**INTERN, HAMILTON SPORTS GROUP TICKETING & EVENTS

Term: April 27th, November 27th, 2026
The HSG Ticketing & Events Intern will acquire a complete understanding of event execution and ticket administration, focusing on providing support to all aspects of the revenue-generating business. Working with our team, the candidate will execute all events relating to ticket activities, including operating the box office on match days for Forge FC and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, along with other duties listed below.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program where an unpaid internship/co-op is either required or can be used for course credit(s).
Responsibilities And Duties**

  • With guidance from the ticketing team, the candidate will set up, manage, and execute all Ticketing Department events and others designed to drive ticket revenue
  • Collect event data to widen HSG's database and ensure proper processes are followed.
  • Ensure that the collected data is inputted into the ticketing system correctly so that other ticket representatives can follow up on it.
  • Assist the Business Development, Membership Services and Ticket Operations roles and responsibilities in the daily operations of the ticketing business.
  • Learn, operate and execute tasks within CRM programs such as Archtics, the Ticketmaster ticketing system
  • Learn and leverage Salesforce to develop new leads and contribute to new business development and meet reporting needs and requirements.
  • Assist with general administrative work, including but not limited to maintaining/organizing digital accounts, data entry, copying, filing, and sales reporting.
  • Any other duties assigned by your Manager(s)
  • Evening and weekend work will be required as most events will happen during this time.

  • Adept with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
  • Shows strong initiative.
  • Passion for sport, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Forge FC, and the Hamilton community.
  • Must possess a G2 or G driver's license and always have access to a vehicle.

Compensation
Interns will receive a $300 per month stipend, with a $700 honorarium following the completion of their seven-month internship. Interns who complete a four-month internship will receive a $350 honorarium. Interns will be paid $90 for Hamilton Tiger-Cats games and $65 for Forge FC matches.
