Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Teacher/Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children and will be responsible for educating and inspiring students. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the educational experience of students.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, including tutoring, to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and early childhood education trends.

Skills

  • Experience working with children in an educational and playful setting is essential.
  • Strong ability to educate and inspire students through innovative teaching methods.
  • Proficiency in tutoring techniques that support individual learning needs.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence in managing classroom activities.
