Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to support our pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of prescription medications to clients using the driver's personal vehicle. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescription medications to patients, clinics, and healthcare facilities using a personal vehicle
  • Ensure medications are transported safely, securely, and in compliance with pharmacy regulations
  • Verify delivery details and obtain required signatures or documentation
  • Handle and transport temperature-sensitive medications appropriately
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
  • Follow all traffic laws, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies
  • Provide courteous, respectful, and professional customer service at all times
  • Report delivery issues, delays, or concerns promptly

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for deliveries
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous medication or healthcare delivery experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards (training provided)
  • Ability to lift and transport packages safely
  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
