We are seeking a Shipping and receiving / Laser Engraving to become an integral part of our team This position will involve integrating with an existing employee and being cross trained on several processes, and to share the workload amongst the team.

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to help expedite work out of shop in a timely manner and on schedule.
  • Responsible for using a company truck to aid in the logistics of in process components shuttle between suppliers and vendors within the GTA.
  • Responsible for keeping track of all materials, stock and equipment that is shipped in and out.
  • Inventory reporting, and tracking.
  • Verifying and approving shipments (outgoing or incoming) and loading or unloading of materials.

Engraving Responsibilities:

  • Operating a variety of laser systems to process customer's parts (engraving, marking, or cutting).
  • Load and unload parts as needed in laser systems.
  • Clean and assembly products as required.
  • Clean work areas as needed.
  • Read/understand part drawings.
  • Fulfill laser maintenance, consumables orders, and more.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing jobs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Assorted Vector Based programs – Inkscape, Corel Draw

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
