What we are looking for:
  • We are looking for a PSW to work from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, five days a week, at the intersection of Main Street and Loyed Street.

Job Summary As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver, you'll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, you'll deliver services that meet each client's unique needs in a safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with morning and evening care routines.
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable home environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands.
  • Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
  • Follow and update care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
  • Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student with at least one year of training).
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
  • Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
  • Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's care is an asset.
