Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
  • Launder linens and towels as needed, adhering to hotel standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Replace used amenities with fresh supplies, including toiletries and other guest necessities.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms efficiently while respecting guests' privacy.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards in cleaning.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to clean 14-16 rooms within the 8 hour period
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning supplies and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
