We are looking for a
Journeyman

to join our Maintenance
team You will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line

- $5,000 Signing Bonus for Ticketed Journeymen
- Day Shift Rate: Non-Ticketed: $42/hour & Ticketed: $46/hour
- Afternoon Shift Rate: Additional $2/hour
- Night Shift Rate: Additional $6/hour
- Dual Ticket Premium: $1/hour (Power Engineer, Boiler Ticket)
- Other Premiums Available (First Aid, Trainer, Lead Hand)

Skills & Experience

  • You have 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • You have Red Seal Millwright certification
  • You have a dual ticket
  • You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
  • You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing; Six Sigma

things you will do…

  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
  • Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed
  • Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
