Exiger is looking for a passionate Senior Front-End Developer to join our UI team and help build high-quality, user-centric experiences using Angular v18+. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver intuitive, accessible, and performant web applications that empower users to make better decisions using complex data.
This is a senior-level role suited for someone who can balance hands-on development with mentoring, architecture discussions, and improving our UI engineering practices across teams - with a strong emphasis on building and evolving a shared design system to scale UI development across products.
- Collaborate with product owners to define user stories and translate them into front-end solutions
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive and accessible web applications
- Participate in design and architecture discussions to deliver scalable and maintainable UI solutions
- Review code and mentor junior developers across the front-end team
- Troubleshoot issues and squash bugs to continuously improve product stability
- Recommend and implement improvements to the front-end stack, tooling, and workflow
- Work closely with the UX team to ensure fidelity to design and an excellent user experience
- Experience building a design system from the ground up, including setting foundational architecture and scalable component patterns
- Collaborate closely with the Design System Lead to define system goals, drive architectural decisions, and align with design principles
- Proficiency with tools like Storybook and Chromatic for building, testing, and documenting reusable components
- Familiarity with design tokens and the supporting ecosystem (e.g., Style Dictionary, Figma Tokens)
- Translate Figma component designs into robust, accessible, and reusable Angular components
- Deep understanding of accessibility best practices (semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard navigation, WCAG compliance)
- Maintain and evolve a shared component library within an Nx monorepo, ensuring modularity and maintainability
- Establish theming and customization strategies to support multiple brands or product variants
- Serve as a technical champion to support adoption across engineering teams, with clear documentation and feedback processes
- Modern JavaScript (ES2015+) and TypeScript
- Angular (v18+) and component-based architecture
- Experience with Angular Material and extending its component APIs
- RxJS and reactive programming principles
- Modern CSS, including flexbox, grid, custom properties, and responsive design
- SCSS or other CSS pre-processors
- RESTful API integration
- Nx monorepos and module federation
- Webpack and front-end build tooling
- Docker for local development and containerization
- Kubernetes awareness — understanding how front-end apps are deployed and scaled in containerized environments
- Agile software development practices
- Experience with GraphQL, Web Components, or custom design systems
- Experience with React, especially in component or design system architecture
- Contributions to open-source projects, personal GitHub repos, or technical writing/blogging
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 4+ years of experience using Angular in production
- 2+ years working in agile development teams
- 2–3 years of experience building a design system from scratch for a SaaS product or platform, or leading the development and ongoing maintenance of core components within an existing design system
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, HCI, or equivalent experience
