Position Overview

We're seeking a
MiTek SAiRE / SAPPHIRE Drafting Technician
to produce accurate framing layouts and shop drawings for our prefab and framing projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MiTek software and a strong understanding of wood framing and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed framing layouts and shop drawings using
  MiTek SAiRE / SAPPHIRE Structure
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to create accurate designs
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure precision and constructability
• Revise and update drawings based on field feedback and design changes
• Maintain consistent drafting standards and documentation practices

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience using
  MiTek SAiRE / SAPPHIRE Structure
• 3–6 years of drafting or design experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of
  wood framing systems
  and building assemblies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Assets

• Familiarity with the
  Canadian Building Code
• Experience in
  prefab or panelized construction
• Knowledge of
  AutoCAD
  or other drafting software
