Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in various electrical projects, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in both residential and industrial settings.

Duties

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with senior electricians to interpret blueprints and schematics for project execution.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Support low voltage wiring installations and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in job site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Learn to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Skills

  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work.
  • Basic understanding of low voltage systems and their applications.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take on new challenges in the construction environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
